The 7th Conference of the SI

The 7th Conference of the SI [Situationist International] was held in Paris, from 5 to 11 July 1966. The assembly discussed the following questions: the organization of the SI;[1] organization in general;[2] the development of our relations with the revolutionary currents that are now appearing;[3] the current state of this process and the conditions that determine it in different zones of the world;[4] revolution and the under-developed economy;[5] culture; the new methods of agitation;[6] the moment of the abolition of separate power; situationist publications and their translations; the financing of our activities; [and] the choice of theoretical works to be developed. A general agreement was manifest on each of the debated subjects.
