I consent to the idea of publishing the two books in a single volume,[1] but on the condition that they are in this order: Comments . . . (1988), followed by The Society of the Spectacle (1967), the first being printed in a slightly larger type.
Your preface will be very useful, at least in explaining the apparent paradox; and of course many other points, I have no doubt.
