from Guy Debord

To Jean-Pierre Baudet
25 February 1987
Dear Jean-Pierre:

The letter to that disgusting Fargette[1] said very well all that there was to say. It especially enriched the collection of writings about the December [1986] movement, its historical consciousness. It will be necessary to see what will be said or written by all those who associated with this person before his strange exploit, which they will be henceforth constrained to consider as unforgettable.

Given the circumstances, I propose that we dine together Saturday 7 March [1987]. You can come at 7:30 pm to the same tobacco shop as the last time. Send me a note if the date does not suit you.

Best wishes,
Guy
