Though we seldom come within the sights of the decentralized panopticon, we can be sure that surveillance is being used as a precaution. In the USA, these circumstances have permitted a group of actors to achieve some fame. Called the Surveillance Camera Players, this group performs plays such as Waiting for Godot, but only in front of surveillance cameras in subway stations. The group's members fight for their right to be left alone. Sometimes their efforts are even fun to watch.
