The Surveillance Camera Players from New York have found an artistic form for their protests against public surveillance cameras: on the one hand, they smile to themselves and, on the other hand, they are thoughtful. For years, the actors, called the SCP for short, have in their Sunday surveillance camera walks paid attention to the effects of public surveillance. They have performed for the cameras small theatre pieces that use abstruse dialogues and have cast "face recognition software" as the central character.
